Storyline
The Expendables are reunited when Mr. Church enlists them to take on a seemingly simple job. When things go wrong, the Expendables are compelled to seek revenge in hostile territory, where the odds are stacked against them. Hell-bent on payback, the crew cuts a swath of destruction through opposing forces, wreaking havoc and shutting down an unexpected threat in the nick of time - five tons of weapons-grade plutonium, more than enough to change the balance of power in the world. But that's nothing compared to the justice they serve against the villainous adversary they seek revenge from.Written by Lionsgate

My Thoughts
Just because I enjoyed part 1, I was looking forward to part 2. However overall for me it felt like part 1 was better. I did enjoy some of the fighting scenes in Part 2, but it felt like there were more shooting scenes. But in the beginning I was really focusing on the movie because of Liam Hemsworth. I'm not crazy about him, it's just that he looks so much like Chris Hemsworth at certain angles! So when I looked at Liam, I felt all mushy and in love cause he reminded me so much of Chris! :p

As for humor, they still have it. I just love them acting together and I think their roles complement each other to make it more hilarious.

Overall the movie is not too bad, but i'm guessing those who watched part 1 would have expected more for part 2. I have a friend who did not watch Part 1 and even she said it was around average. Some people complained that the story line sucks, whether it's an action or horror movie the story line is important UNLESS the action scenes are good enough to divert their attention to the action scenes instead of the story line.

If you're wondering if it's worth watching in the cinema? Honest opinion, yes. Even though Part 1 was better (in my opinion), Part 2 is still good. :)
