Hennessy Artistry @ KWC, 8th September 2012

4:05 AM

The widely anticipated super-clubbing phenomenon H-Artistry – The Global Art of Mixing struck the heart of Kuala Lumpur for the first time in 2012, bringing spectacular mix of music, delectable tastes of Hennessy V.S.O.P. long drinks, and a trademark H-Artistry party atmosphere.

H-Artistry at KWC KL resoundingly set the benchmark for the finale of 2012’s Global Art of Mixing Trilogy by pulling off yet another unmatched party experience for KL party-goers. It was my first time ever going for Hennessy Artistry so I have to admit my Hennessy experience was a pretty good one. The music was pretty good if compared to our usual clubbing sessions, drinks were awesome, I love the Hennessy Apple and Hennessy Berry, met more bloggers, took a lots of pictures, and danced a lot. Somewhat a night to remember.

This time around Hennessy Artistry was held at Kenanga Wholesale Centre, the event started at around 8.30pm. Not being familiar with KWC, we had a slight problem finding the location. But thanks to the efficiency of Hennessy, they posted maps at almost every lift area to guide us to the right lift to head up to the venue. Like I mentioned above, it is my first time, so I don't know if they have always had escorts in the lift, but that night they did and I thought it was pretty good to prevent any unwanted party crashers, etc, and also that way people will know they are in the right lift.

After getting our wrist bands we headed into Hennessy Art of Mixing Zone as well as the 360 Cam! At first we headed to the Hennessy Mixing Bar where we each learned how to mix our very own Hennessy Long Drinks. My friend was the one who suggested us to try the Hennessy Apple and Hennessy Berry, I did not try the Hennessy Ginger but I should've though, and Hennessy Soda, well how different could it taste? I've got to say that I love the Hennessy Apple the most, it was so easy to drink with a sweet and pleasant taste that I could drink it up like drinking water instead of sips.

360 Cam – the first of its kind in Malaysia. The specially constructed platform utilized 23 DSLR cameras to capture and weave together seamless 360 degree video panoramas of party goers striking their best pose. Naturally, the Hennessy 360 Cam saw a perpetual queue of revelers in their glittering party ensembles, eager to have their videos taken and uploaded onto www.h-artistry.com.my. (I went for it twice :p)

We took some pictures and mingled around before we proceeded to the real party. Once the entrance opened a few people actually rushed in. The bloggers got the Zone O, at the first floor, and we sat where is closest to the stage thanks to8 Mr. Henry Lee.

As the first Global Art of Mixing party that shook Penang in June 2012 it now continues featuring a truly distinctive blend of international and local performances, as Eva Simons, Angger Dimas, B.A.T.E., and Mr. Nasty&GuruGuru each contributed to the pure musical artistry that enraptured the night.

The party started with B.A.T.E with their Big Room Electro House.

The whole night we were just enjoying ourselves dancing away with the awesome music, it was a really fun night, but I'm also looking forward to more events to come where I experience a GREAT night. :)

The many pictures of the night
The signature Hennessy V.S.O.P. long drinks: Hennessy Apple, Hennessy Berry, Hennessy Ginger and Hennessy Soda, kept us going the whole night till the party ended, we were treated to an overall sensory experience that i've never experience before, one that so far only H-Artistry could deliver.

It was a long and fun night, we had so much fun dancing along to the good music and doing funny things. Managed to capture some candid shots that I will not upload, but #justsaying to let you know the fun we had. When the music stopped, that's when I realized my heels were killing me so I took my them off. Reached downstairs Regina saw glasses on the carpet, I had to put my heels back on :(. But to be honest, even though my feet were hurting, it was worth it. :)

Now with the benchmark firmly set by H-Artistry at KWC KL, party goers such as you can now look forward to the epic culmination of the H-Artistry Global Art of Mixing Trilogy, slated for 3 November 2012. The H-Artistry finale will definitely outdo itself to be nothing short of the most phenomenal super-clubbing experience of the year.

Passes to H-Artistry – The Global Art of Mixing events are by-invitation only. To relive the H-Artistry experience this November, be sure to watch this space: www.h-artistry.com.my for more information.
