Veuve Clicquot Carnival @ Signature, The Roof

7:07 PM

A mysterious and interesting night to remember, as I was invited by Manoah to attend the Veuve Clicquot Carnival. I love the masquerade theme, the masquerade masks, and female usherers dressed in pretty dresses, and most of all, I love champagne. ;)

A little background on Veuve Clicquot:
Founded in 1772, Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin has stayed true to it’s motto “Only One Quality, The Finest” for over two centuries. Over the years, the Maison has acquired extraordinary know how thanks to an exceptional woman: Barbe Nicole Ponsardin, also known as Madame Veuve Clicquot. With a tradition of export, today Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin exports more than 90% of its production to over 150 countries. Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin champagne is the world’s second most popular champagne and is considered by consumers to be the most exclusive and the most prestigious.

We each were given a mask with a number behind for lucky draw. I love the mask and I would have worn it for the whole night but I'm not used to it, and felt like couldn't see properly. Also once you take off the mask there will be glitters on you face!

As for the Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label, it taste pretty fruity and refreshing. I kinda like it fruity for a change, since the champagne I drink usually taste more like Chardonnay which is dry. When i had my first few sips, the thoughts that came to mind were fruity and Sauvignon Blanc.

The whole night everyone mingled around while they enjoyed their champagne, there were entertainments such as Champagne Pong and performances.

I didn't do so well with the Champagne Pong, I threw too hard. :(

With Michelle, Yukiko, and Jeremy.

With Cecilia and Yuki.

Donovan and Michelle

I have not had so much champagne for a long time, and so glad to be part of this event. I had a fun and chilled out night, bump into some friends, it was a gorgeous event for me.
